Important Information

- Final rental amount is to be paid to the property management company no later than 30 days/1 month before arrival, together with additional fees of R 1000 post departure cleaning fee and R 2000 refundable breakages deposit. For international guests only, the breakages deposit to be paid in cash on arrival, if local residents this needs to be prepaid via EFT.
- Please notify the Management Team (who will provide your check-in/out) of any damages or defects noticed in the house or on the property, visible upon arrival up to 2 days after occupation. The Tenant shall notify the property manager within 2 (two) days after the date of arrival of any defects in the Premises and shall, if the Tenant has not notified the property manager as aforesaid, be deemed to have acknowledged that the Premises were received in good order and condition. Please also notify them of any damages/breakages incurred during your stay. Refundable Retainer is for any loss, damage or breakage to inventory items, furniture, linen, towels, carpets or anything else relating to the home. This retainer (or the balance thereof after deduction of any of the above costs) will be refunded to you in cash upon departure, should nothing be broken or damaged at the house. In the event of damages and or breakages exceeding the refundable retainer, the Tenant hereby agrees and undertakes to make payment in full of all such additional breakages and damages within seven days of receipt of proof of the breakages/damages sustained.
- A maximum of 3 (three) people are allowed to sleep over. 1x king bed and 1x single bed, open-plan bedroom. Please do not exceed this number on any given night.
- Children of all ages are allowed, however, please note the cottage and property isn't equipped for small children/babies i.e the balconies don't have safety gates and the swimming pool doesn't have a safety net. Do take care of small children. Please bring your own baby camp cot and high chair with.
- Linen, bath & beach towels are provided. Please do not use bath towels are beach/swimming towels.
- Due to the natural surroundings, charcoal is to be used in the portable braai and wood can be used in the fire pit braai. Please ensure ALL fires are put OUT if unattended/you leave as this property is a high fire risk area.
- No pets are allowed on the property. The owners live on the property with their dogs and cats who may come visit.
- This property has septic tanks, only human waste and toilet paper down the toilets please and please ensure cleaning materials are marked ‘Septic Tank Friendly’, thanks.
- No smoking indoors, please discard of cigarettes in astray provided and not on the patio, gardens or down toilets.
- DStv and wifi are included in your stay. The TV is a smart TV.
- Unruly and/or noisy behavior will result in an eviction, with no refund. No parties or events are permitted at the property. Please respect the property and your neighbors, thank-you! No loud music or noise after 22h00 please.
- A cleaning surcharge will be charged should the tenants not leave the property in reasonable condition for occupation or if check-out happens later than the specified time. This will be withheld off your breakages deposit.
- Housekeeping service is not included - it is optional extra. Please advise us well in advance if you require this service as it is outsourced and subject to availability at time of enquiry.
- This accommodation is fully self-catering. Kindly provide your personal consumables.
- The property is in nature, please keep a watchful eye for snakes and other creatures.
