About Die Plaat
Part of the Walker Bay Nature Reserve, Die Plaat is a long beach of pristine white sand and rocky limestone outcrops to the east.
Access to the beach is via Normandie Street in De Kelders, and an entry fee is required. Permitted activities include angling, hiking and swimming. Note that the water can get rough.
